The very hot tenor sax Olivier Temime is taking a break from his Volunteered Slaves to try his hand at the radical formula of the bare trio, with Michel Zenino on double bass, Jean-Pierre Arnaud on drums.

Massaliazz … is both the name of the project and the first album of three Marseilles jazzmen: Olivier Temime, Michel Zenino and Jean-Pierre Arnaud.
Like their city, their music is studded with swing, humor, mischief, and gaiety. Their concerts bear the imprint of Sonny Rollins, to whom they refer through unbridled improvisations and frenetic rhythms.
